Training for an ultramarathon includes several considerations outside of traditional road racing, including nutrition, course details (elevation, terrain, etc.), weather, and more. This can be both intriguing and nerve-wracking. As a certified Ultrarunning Coach, I am here to help you navigate and plan for all of the variables that ultra training and racing have to offer.
With all of these variables in mind, Personal Coaching is the only option offered for ultra training and there are some additional requirements for the athlete (outlined below).
This plan includes:
Free Introductory Phone Call
Athlete Questionnaire
Onboarding Consultation
Training Peaks Premium Athlete account (Access via desktop or mobile app)
Individualized Workouts uploaded weekly to Training Peaks calendar
Workouts to include running, cross training, basic strength training, and mobility (depending on needs and specific to ultra training)
Workouts/schedule adjusted by coach as needed
Unlimited Text Messaging and/or Emailing with coach (during business hours)
Weekly check-ins with coach
Goal Setting
Running-Based Fueling Guidance (pre/during/post run)
Race Day Planning (Nutrition, Pacing, Gear, etc.)
Race Review
Athlete Requirements:
Complete Health History Questionnaire
Complete Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire
Must own and use a GPS watch for training (Garmin or Coros are recommended)
